Joe Rice

Joe Rice is a Director in the Compensation Consulting Division of CBIZ Talent & Compensation Solutions. Mr. Rice leads organization-wide compensation initiatives, advising clients to achieve their compensation and total rewards goals. Mr. Rice identifies the following steps as critical to all compensation consulting engagements:

• Evaluate compensation philosophy, including target market placement and relevant labor markets
• Benchmark market-competitive compensation, incentives, benefits, and total compensation based on reputable survey sources and thorough review of job specifications
• Develop salary structure(s) that align with job architecture and culture
• Calculate financial impact, evaluating gaps and pay compression
• Develop implementation plans that are achievable
• Provide salary administration plans and annual guidance
