Connecticut Expands Paid Sick Leave

On May 8, 2024, Governor Ned Lamont signed legislation expanding the state’s mandated paid sick leave to almost every employee in Connecticut by 2027. As a reminder, Connecticut’s current paid sick leave law applies to employers employing 50 or more employees and provides paid sick leave to service workers.

Paid sick leave law is expanded as outlined in the table below.
