Kevin has nearly 20 years of accounting, auditing, and consulting experience. His strength is working with technology companies (including software-as-a-service, software, internet-based and hardware) to assist them with areas of complex technical accounting, audit preparation and facilitation, SEC reporting, IPO preparedness, and with key transitional projects such as the new revenue (ASC 606) and lease guidance (ASC 842).
He has assisted a number of companies with revenue recognition-related projects, ranging from analysis of a company’s current policies and documentation to in-depth contract reviews, policy formation and revenue recasting. Kevin has helped a number of high-growth companies in their adoption of the new revenue recognition guidance (ASC 606).
Kevin enjoys being a valuable technical resource for companies needing to bridge the gap between their current workforce and their accounting demands. He has also built key relationships with a number of audit teams from the Big Four accounting firms. As a former auditor, he has experience with the audit and review process, as well as the level of diligence required which he is able to leverage with his clients to help “get it done.”
Previous, Kevin led financial statement audit engagements for both public and private companies, as well as consulted with various national audit teams on technical accounting areas for a public accounting provider.
